How do you recommend what portfolio I should invest in?
During the account opening process, we will ask you questions about your time horizon and risk tolerance. Time horizon, as used in our portfolio recommendation process, is the number of years in the future that you plan to sell your investments and withdraw funds. Risk tolerance is a measure of both your capacity and willingness to take on risk; your capacity is your ability to afford risk, while your willingness is your approach to it. We use this information to generate an automated model portfolio recommendation that’s suited to your investment profile. There is no human involvement in our portfolio recommendation process other than the initial creation of the portfolio recommendation tool. The investment recommendation relies entirely on the responses you provide regarding your time horizon and risk tolerance.
